A Valentine Card

Hi this card is not for a challenge but for one of my brothers who asked if I would make him a Valentines card for his lady friend. Well just got this beautiful Morehead stamp set and thought it was perfect for this occasion. First I cut the circles with my cricut then stamped the image and coloured her with my promarkers. I added one of my tassels and a couple of hearts also cut from the cricut and embossed with the swiss dots cuttlebug folder. I wrapped some red ribbon round the gold mirri card added a red bow and a sentiment and there we have it...hope you like it.

Blog Candy

Hi I have seen so many blogs offering blog candy that I have decided to offer some of my own to celebrate the 10,000+ hit on my blog. It will be my way of thanking you for taking time to visit and comment on my card creations. I have a few things in mind but will have to sort out some goodies and once I have I will post a picture and a list of the contents (hopefully) within the next week, so please watch this space.

Thank you

I just wanted to thank all my visitors for your kind words about my cards. It is one reason why I love to get involved with crafting is that fellow crafters are so inspiring but also supportive, encouraging, friendly and caring.

I know I cannot be the only crafter who believes at times that their cards are not up to their own standard let alone the standard of entry to a challenge. Doubt about ability often comes into play when creating a card, is it good enough, are the colours right, have I stamped the image straight etc etc etc, I think you know what I mean.

So you have to take a deep breathe and think well this is crafting and it is meant to be fun so whether a card is a mistake or a work of art at the end of the day the joy of creating the card is what matters.

We all need that little bit of encouragement at times which I will always try and give because the creations produced by you, my fellow crafters, are truly wonderful and in my eyes works of art.

So thank you you have made it all seem worthwhile.
