Flutter By Wednesday-Inspirational

Good morning all the sun is shinning here in Gloucester and looks so lovely outside the birds are singing makes you want to be out in the garden and that is where I am going in a mo.  I have the pond to finish off and a few bits and bobs to do so I thought I would post this card first.  This weeks challenge at Flutter By Wednesday is based on a picture taken by Danni.  I have used my daisy stamp by Serendipity again but this time coloured it in pink, the butterfly I have coloured in a mixture of red, orange and light brown I have added another flower at the top and to keep the other butterfly company added another one in the corner.  I painstakingly cut the flower out with my craft knife so it was sort of free standing.  The backing papers are from Funky Fairy's, I mounted the daisy onto a brown oval and stamped dream on the side.  I have used my promarkers for this one and hope you like it.  Hugs to you all.

Daisy May Challenge-Sketch

I have actually managed to produce a card for the Daisy May Challenge and feel quite pleased with the outcome.  I have quite a few of the Daisy May Images and have used them several times on cards but not ones that I have shown on my blog tut tut I know that is naughty of me and it won't happen again.  Anyway I have used a combination of Aubergine and Pinks as the main colours for this card I have cut out the image and mounted it onto an oval cut from my cricut added some handmade backing paper and ribbon also a flower the petal part is actually plastic the bud is again from my stash.  Hope you like it hugs for now.

Divine Diva Inspirational Challenge Blog

Good evening lovely people I thought my creative juices had dried up but I think I was wrong lol.  On visiting your lovely blogs today I came across a challenge site that was on Chris' blog the link is at the top of my sidebar.  Chris has taken a picture for you to get your inspiration from and is inviting you to use this has a starter for making a card then linking it to her blog and you are in with a chance of winning a great prize for more details visit Chris's blog or click on the link at the top of my sidebar.  Well I have used for this card some free backing papers from Funky Fairy's I also used some gorgeous cream jacquard ribbon then topped that with a thinner band of yellow satin ribbon.  The image is a digital one from sketching stamper the link is in my sidebar I coloured them with my promarkers added some little buttons and an array of flowers from my stash, the ones that I have used as buds are silk.  The picture inspired me to use these colours but also some texture and different material i.e. the ribbon and flowers.  Please let me know if you like it hugs for now.

Only One Card Today

Hi all haven't been very active today the creative mode hasn't kicked in yet but this is the third card that I made yesterday but forgot to post it last night.  This is my entry for this week's Dare U 2Digi Stamp and is based on a sketch.  The image is of course a digi stamp and I coloured it with promarkers, I must admit I am quite fond of this little insect but then he is on someone else's flowers and not mine lol.  I have kept this card quite simple because I think the image is quite striking I hope you like it hugs to you all.

The Gift of Love Award

Wow I am so very very proud to have received this most gorgeous award from Joanne today and as with all these fab awards that are given to me my heart swells with pride and my eyes with tears.  I feel I have come a long way since I started blogging and to have made so many friends and blogging buddies is the most awesome feeling.  You are all very precious to me and my comments on your work come from the heart.  If I hadn't met you all I would still be stuck in a rut with my card making you have all helped me spread my wings and it is beginning to show in the work I feel I am now able to create.......do you know I feel like the celebs that receive the Oscar or BAFTA awards lol.....I can't just accept it and not say nothing lol.  Ok now I have to pass this onto five other blogging buddies which is one of the hardest things I have to do because you ALL mean so much to me and have all become part of my daily living but as Joanne says the rules are there to be followed so..... I am going to pass this onto the following five blogs:

I know you will all show this award on your blog with the same pride that I feel.

Friday Sketchers and Stamp with Fun

Hello I told you I would be back I have just been paying a visit to your blogs which I really do enjoy.  I then thought I would post this second card for the evening which is for two challenges this time, the first being Friday Sketchers (sketch) and Stamp With Fun Challenge both asked for a DL type card.  Ok I have used Papermania backing paper and cut the curve myself (aren't I daring) I think this shows the confidence you have given me because normally I would never have tried this freehand.  I have used one of my Miss Anya stamps that I got from Funky Kits and I do love em they stamp really lovely.  I have added a brown ribbon and bow a brown flower at the top and a pink one at the bottom both with one of my buds as the centre I also added the sentiment hugs to you all.

Flutter By Wednesday-Patriotic Fairy

Oooo I nearly forgot the Flutter By Wednesday Challenge so this is my first posting for tonight as I definitely do not want to miss it.  The theme this week is to use red, white and blue a fairy and/or butterfly so I thought I would use both but the limelight is obviously the fairy.  I have used promarkers and to stay within the colour theme I used red on her hair and ruby red for the flower and her dress I have sat her on a pale blue leaf but hey she is a mystical fairy.  I have added a couple of Dahlia flowers with some of my white buds and a butterfly sticker which I put onto red card and cut out, finally added a sentiment stamped in red brilliance.  Hope you like it but I will be back with some more because I managed to get three done this afternoon/tonight so I am a contented bunny lol.  Thank you all so much for your lovely comments and I must say I feel that my card making has improved since I started blogging and you my fab followers can take the praise for that.

Stamp With Fun

This is my second card of the day and was my entry for the challenge at Stamp With Fun and is based on a sketch.  I thought I might be late with this one (and I am) but I am posting it anyway. I have used pastels for this and one of my gorgeous Tilda's.  I have used my oval nestabilities and put them through my big shot and used the swiss dots cuttlebug folder I have coloured Tilda with promarkers and added some flowers and gems, hope you like it hugs to you all and enjoy the rest of the day.

Cute Card Thursday

Hiya all I am back with two cards I have managed to make since this morning. This is the first one which covers  Cute Card Thursday theme Mirror, Mirror.  I have used a sketch (which I have forgotton whose it is cause I have got myself all muddled up so my apologies) but flipped it to fit the image I wanted to use which is one of the Anya girls never before inked.  With the theme for CCT I have used mirror board in copper added some pink gems and some flowers.  The background paper is Funky Fairy's and added a sentiment.  I have a massive container of flowers that I have been collecting over the last few years and have decided to use them after I have seen your cards.  This is part of the inspiration and ideas that I pick up from visiting your blogs so believe me its so very true when I say you inspire me.  Hugs to all now on to the next one lol.

Mojo Monday and Copic Creations No3

Good morning lovely people hope you are enjoying the day so far.  I thought I had better get this card posted before I am miss the deadline for the challenges.  I am way behind at the moment so I have lots of stamping and colouring to do today.  This card is my entry for the Mojo Monday Challenge (sketch) and Copics Creations challenge No3 the theme being Purple Flowers/Lilacs. I have used one of my lovely Serendipity stamps I was going to use the Lilac flower one but it didn't turn out as I wanted so I have used the Daisy instead, they are both beautiful so the choice wasn't to difficult. I have used a backing paper from the Cupcake CD range added a ribbon and the little flower I have punched from handmade papers.  The copics I used for this one are V076/G000/V91/Roo/Y15/E43.  I haven't many of these at the moment but I hope to build up my colours when I am able.  I hope this appeals to you all Hugs and see you all later.
