Another 4 in 1

Hi all this is the second card that I said I would be posting today and is my entry for four challenges which are as follows:

Spoonful Of Sugar Butterflies
Simon Says Pink and Brown
Flutter by Wednesday A sketch with butterflies and/or fairies.

I am quite pleased with this card not only because I managed to complete it for four challenges but I also had another go with distressing and I think it worked.....do you think so as well? I used Tim Holtz Tattered Rose this time instead of the Mahogany colour I think using the lighter colour didn't look so frightening.

Ok I have used a Sugar Nellie stamp with a little butterfly coloured it with promarkers in pink and brown but not just one of each I used different shades. The sketch is lovely and easy to work with I used Bearlymine backing papers and also did some distressing on that as well, I added four little glittered butterflies to the corners some gems, flowers and sentiment. I hope you like it. Hugs to all

Cute Daisy May

Good morning all hope it is a bright sunny and fresh morning wherever you may be. We had thunder storms last night which was great I love them but not so nice for some I know, my mum is still scared of them and hides her head whenever she hears them.

Anyway I did make a couple of cards and this is the first one that I am sharing with you and is my entry for this weeks Cute Daisy May challenge. Isn't she adorable, the theme is to use Pink and Green, and have coloured her with promarkers the backing paper is a freebie from Summertime Designs I added a sentiment some lace and gems and finally my blogging buddy Irene knew I loved the flowers she uses on some of her designs and sent some to me, she is a wonderful lady and talented crafter and I am so grateful for this act of kindness. I am sorry to admit though I am being very frugal with them lol. I hope you like it and will be back a bit later but can I please say thank you for all the lovely comments I am receiving it fills my heart with joy and also Polo says woof woof for making his 14th birthday so special (especially the female doggies) woof woof. Lol

The Birthday Boy

Hi all just thought you would like to see a picture of the birthday boy Polo who is 14 years of age today. I managed to catch him just before he started barking at the camera he had a nice long walk and a treat and I sang 'happy birthday' to him lol, I think he has enjoyed the day. He sits on top of the sofa looking out the window he stays there for ages and it is his sofa lol. Hugs to all.

The Crafty Pad

Hi all this is my entry for this week's Crafty Pad Challenge and is based on a sketch. I have used Bearlymine backing papers some Fred She Said flowers and a Hanglar image sent to me in a RAK and coloured with promarkers. I hope you like it have a nice day hugs to all.

Just Magnolia and Stampin for the Weekend

Hi all been a bit quiet today but I will be visiting you all very soon. This is my entry for two challenges the first is Just Magnolia based on the sketch and Stampin For The Weekend which is a new challenge blog that launched on 5th June and they have set a challenge called 'Dusk to Dawn' using the colour combo purple and yellow. I have seen some fab creations using these colours and I hope this one is acceptable. I have followed the sketch but have used my new Nestie labels the backing papers are from Bearlymine cd the flowers I have just got from Fred She Said and have used Tilda with a couple of glittered sticker butterflies oh and I added some faux purple stitching to highlight the nestie and last but not least added a sentiment. I apologise for the clarity of the picture I tried taking it several times and this was the best I could get it. I hope you all like it hugs to all.

A Gift From Suzanne

I proudly received this award from fellow blogging buddy Suzanne and I am overwhelmed to have been chosen.  I always have an emotional moment when I receive these awards and will be  forever grateful to have been nominated.  Suzanne and her mum Lynne are both wonderful crafter's with heaps of talent and are both very supportive and well they are lovely people.  I would like to pass this award onto some of my fellow crafter's, blogging buddies and supporters who have shown me not only friendship and kindness but also believe in me and my work.  I feel that this applies to the majority of you and it is always so hard to have to choose but choose I must.  However, I do not feel this to be an easy task so will think hard about it and will nominate a bit later.  In the mean time big hugs to you all.

I apologise for taken so long to pass this award on but my mum stayed an extra day, I think I spoiled her to much lol, she is worth every bit of it and more.  Anyway she has just this minute left and I have made a list, however, firstly I would like to send my thanks to two other wonderful crafters/blogging buddies who have nominated me for two awards that I already have but the thought and nomination means no less to me than if I had received them for the first time so thank you Sassy and Dazie.

My fellow buddies and supporters that I would like pass this onto are:

I hope you will enjoy it and if you have already received it by way of someone else you are doubly lucky like I am lol.

Divine Inspiration and Sketch

Hi all this is my entry for two challenges the first is Card Patterns which is the sketch and Divine Diva based on an inspirational picture.  I have used Bearlymine backing papers, copper organza ribbon a few gems and flowers, my new Spellbinders Label Nesties and a Gorguss girl image coloured with promarkers.  This card was truly inspired by the photo on the Divine Diva blog and I thought that this and the sketch from Card Patterns would do very nicely together....am I right do you think.  I adore these Gorguss girl stamps they really are lovely, cute and sweet.  I am pleasantly pleased with this one the colour combo is a bit me, if you know what I mean lol.  Hugs to all see you later.

Four In One

This is my fourth and final posting for the moment and is a four in one the challenges are as follows:
Scrappy Frogs           Anything with Fairies
VC Stamp Challenge Pink, Black and White

Well I think this card meets all these requirements the image is a digi stamp from Victoria Case and is of course a fairy.  The colour scheme is defiantly pink, black and white.  I have used ribbons in different colours across the card.  I have coloured the image with a mixture of pink promarkers, even her hair, well she is a fairy.  I have added some ribbons and a bit of lace from my stash also a pink and black flora doodle with a pink gem brad as the centre.  I will be back in a bit to see how well you have been doing and please check out my other three posts if you have time.....hugs to all.

Lili of the Valley and The Crafty Pad

This is my entry for two challenges the first is Lili Of The Valley the theme being 'Summer Fun' and the second is The Crafty Pad which is the sketch.  I have used a stamp that I have never used before from Funky Kits but I feel it depicts Summer Fun ideally and it's boys lol.  I have used papers and card from my stash and added a button just for added dimension, I hope you like this one and please check out my other two new postings below that I have also added today.  I am feeling quite positive about these cards but let me know if I am still on the right track hugs to all.

Carol's Sketch Fun and Allsorts Challenges

This is my second card of four that I will be posting today so hope you don't mind this little influx lol.  This is my entry for two challenges the first is Carol's Sketch Fun and the second is Allsorts which is themed 'Pink & White'.  I have flipped the sketch and mounted Vicky onto an oval nestie and coloured her with promarkers.  The backing papers are from Summertime Designs and a free download, I have added some pink gems and a couple of little flowers.  Hope you like it. Hugs

Sugar Bowl-Sketch by Lia

Hi all this is my entry for this week's Sugar Bowl challenge and it's a sketch by Lia.  I have used a mix of papers mainly from a new site  I have found called Summer Time Designs, that invites you to download these for free, and even better you get to read the story of little Bree you must pay a visit it's totally worth it.  It is a story of a brave little girl and her family.

I wasn't to sure at first when making this card but once it was finished for some reason I just couldn't take my eyes of it and kept thinking I like it it reminds a bit if a quilt.  The image is from Funky Kits and coloured with pro markers the flower which is also part of the download has one of my new jewelled brads for the centre. Hope you like it and I will be visiting you all today I had a few problems with the computer and my mum is staying with me this weekend she will be 90 this year and I like to spoil her a bit.
